Manga without title - Vol. 1 Ch. 1.1

"Oh shit I'm having an actual back and forth conversation with a bird."

"Might as well accept this ridiculousness in a split second and befriend my cute conversation partner, which is a bird."

I love it
Guve me more

Just a thought I got from the description of this manga, but isn't it just plain stupid and frankly lazy world-building when medieval-era worlds are presented as having food that's just as delicious, if not even more so, than the modern era's? I mean, goddamn spices weren't even available to the common folk for much of the medieval ages in our world (and even beyond that), and not having access to more modern ways of processing foodstuff would mean that our stomachs would probably be doing flip-flops at all the viruses, germs and whatnot present in those things.

Sure, you can handwave that kind of thing with it being another world and all that, but again, just seems like lazy world-building.

I wonder if I had read way too much bizarre mangas that I almost thought he was about to transform to a magical girl for a second there...
