When it's censoring clothed woman, you know it's just a troll censorship to make you buy uncensored version. Its not even consistent. When you see this shit, do NOT buy uncensored/premium version purely on principle! Censoring clothing is wrong.

The proper way to censor is to clothe them or obstruct with a natural object in the environment but this author would just slap an enormous black bar on that too.

Gonna go out on a limb here and blame the publisher, rather than the author, since I took a look at the raw link and what d'ya know. One of several I'm aware of that seems to do this on their websites.

As for the censorship focusing stuff like boobs but leaving blood and such everywhere, yes, that is a thing humans do. We're collectively a bit stupid and like to "draw the line" in stupid places for stupid reasons.

As for Mary, mixed feelings.. She could have a redemption arc over her near death experience and give her some character development. But I doubt the author is intelligence enough to write something like that. Most of these isekia authors are only in it for the wish fulfillment and self inserts.

You obviously can't defend the publisher for pulling shit like this, but the mangaka should be fully aware of how shitty nearly all the publishers are and adjust his work accordingly if he doesn't want to make a doujin.


On that note, honorable mention to "S-Ranked monster (etc.)" for deftly skirting the edge of censorship and bravely presenting everything aside from full frontal nudity in a very tasteful uhm, thought provoking penile extending manner.
