Maou Desu. Onna Yuusha no Hahaoya to Saikon Shita no de, Onna Yuusha ga Giri no Musume ni Narimashita. - Ch. 32

I'd say the demon lord is more like an equivalent of both a human kingdom's ruler and the "hero." He's not just some politically important administrator, he's an actual protector of his people from outside forces that wish to do them harm. If we wanna triple dip this particular chip, he's probably protecting his people from themselves too. He's a highly condensed form of military power for their nation, so naturally he'd be good against internal threats as well when the diplomatic approach fails to stop someone from being a twat about something and tries to do stuff that could harm their fellow citizens.

@mahtan
The president goes on vacation too. I think the problem is the manga doesn't show him delighting enough. A ruler of such a massive land should have more administration. Also there should be occasional reports sent while he's away.

"Yeah, we from the church think you are bad! we're going to reform you!". What even is this chapter lmao. I feel like they were compelled to add the "dae medieval christian church bad" trope just for the sake of adding tropes.

This is basically a clash of religion. Currently there’s still two countries at war because of religion. Many leaders attempt to stop it but the numerous believers kill them before the war can end. Forgot the countries names but yeah it’s a radical way of thinking.

It’s no different than Wuxia where they kill people that go against their Dao (Way of thinking/living)

imagine being mad at your friend for getting smarter, fighting better, and learning explosion magic with her step dad. sounds like the priest lady has daddy issues or something

If he doesn't criticize the shit out of their 'faith' then I'll be pissed.

Nothing against religious folks, this setting is just stupid. In the last chapter, it's proven Holy elements are harmful to him. In this chapter, he dives head first into a church because 'it's for the kids, sacrifice until you're not but dust-that's makes me a good man'. This modern day attitude in a medieval setting infuriates me to know end.
