@ryouhira the sand dragon lost to the hero in some of the very first chapters, probably before night 50 or so
he was always shown in his monster form ( a huge dragon that shot sand tornadoes ) and was eventually defeated in that form too
then he re appeared long long after that in his dude with glasses form
