Can't really relate to this.
Expensive food doesn't taste better. Usually it is just expensive for stupid reasons, like the ingredients came from a few thousand miles away instead of nearby, or they opted not to add useful chemicals to it so they charge more for not doing so, or the chef is just some bellend who is full of himself. Plus the portions tend to be smaller too.
