So the cat guy has fake ears so he is also from the human world?
And is it so hard to talk to an mage or a teacher and explain that you are from an extremely short lived race (avg livespan 75y) of Humans, so you already lived 1/3 of your life and already learned lots of stuff, minus magic which don't exist where you live. You can prove it by doing advanced mathematics.
As for children saying they are adults, it's one thing if a childish child says this, but totally different when a toddler says "this human form is so limiting".
As for adv math problems (there may be races which specialize in math as they are part robot/golem/dungeon_core, but), there are plenty of ways to prove that you are cognitively and socially mature. It is not the knowledge, but a way of expressing it that would prove his point.
Using magic to prove this is also ok. He would just ask them to provide a truth-telling spell or artefact and use it saying he's adult, but from a foreign short-lived race and somebody used magic without his consent to kidnap him here...

@happybro It should be pretty easy but they are simply not listening. Also it seems to be implied that there is absolutely no race known which lives such a short life, in this world. This means that they see it as outlandish.
They all seem about the same intelligence wise, odd as that may seem. So the math idea may work. You would however have to go through a massive investigation to actually get them to accept such a thing unless they know of "other worlds" already. Its like if an alien lifeform showed up but it looked entirely human. He now has to prove he is not just a smart kid. Advanced math skills don't really prove anything. More an indicator if the adult is paying attention.

The bigger clue that the old dude is from Earth is the fact that he had the natural Japanese businessman reaction to Yamada giving him the business card. Which is why there was the awkward silence.

@Granitefish the projected form was probably to see if she was worried about her being gone or missing, something like that. So when the projected form came to see if she was worried or wondering about something, and she seemed like she didn't care she got angry. Something like that lol

@happybro: most working adult don't have the math skill (nor physics, chemistry, biology...) of a high schooler - they already forget it. If you give random adults some simple sin-cos problems, you will see their face slowly turn pale. Meanwhile, the skill that these working adult know - IT, e-marketing (without computer or internet), logistics (without plane and the mean to preserve goods over long distance), advanced engineering (without modern machine and material),.. make no sense in this world. Thus, useless.
On the other hand, the MC are clueless about this world, about its geography, history, culture, biology, physics (law of Conservation of Energy stop making sense when you can create a fireball [energy+mass] out of nowhere),... He doesn't have any developed ability - can't fly, can't breath fire, and his body is squishy as hell. Totally helpless. If i was his teacher, i would treat him just like how he is treated by the lamia teacher - a remarkable kid (like the kid that could speak 3 languages, or could play the violin really well) but nevertheless, a helpless kid with a lot to learn.
