@Zakuzelo She has got, to her chagrin, the boke role in this story. However, there's a bit deeper meaning to it, because due to that goodwilling naivety she is able to see Zagan and Nephie for what they really are and not just relentlessly attack them with extreme prejudice like the church would have wanted her to do. That's exactly why she's here in a pretty dress, instead of being ready for battle. Because she was invited to a party, yet failed to realise the minor fact it's a party of exceedingly suspicious people.
im really digging this. The author, at the very least, is also setting logic for the magic in this world and how they work, instead of just relying on friendship powers and rage magic or any other deus ex magicae
