Maou-sama ni Shoukan sareta kedo Kotoba ga Tsuujinai - Vol. 1 Ch. 6 - I Got Lost

For some reason the conversations in this story feels kind of wholesome.

Yet the only words used is "Ren" and "Mary"

Would've been good if the hero was a summoned japanese too but not cutely stupid like the MC and actually learned some words.

this is cute AF but I feel like he should be doing more to try to learn their language

@CrimsonLupus Oh yea, I know, but he could at least learn everyday things and how to communicate on a base level just by working with the demon queen for a week or two. He wouldn't be fluent in the slightest, but he could learn more than just her name. So far he hasn't tried at all.

I want to see the shenanigans between the heroes and our Demon Queen.

@DrHizzle Well, i think learning another language is pretty hard, even if it's just the names of objects, even after years of learning, it would be difficult to have fluent conversations, that is not even counting the alphabet, which could be like ours (english, spanish, french, german) or it could be something like japanese/chinese/korean, or something like the arabian alphabet. If he were a literal baby, it wouldn't be a problem because he would be a blank slate, but here, unless there is some translation magic, i doubt he could learn the language at am advanced level. Although i'm no language expert.

So, did the witch mean she knew someone with demon magic or was she talking about another person from another world?

@Richman
Everyone's different, but personally I'm fluent in two languages, and basic in two more. One of my basic ones isn't even remotely related to the others. If there's the will to learn, anyone can learn a new language. And personally I'd say being stuck in a different world without being able to understand a single word, is a pretty damn good motivator to learn.
