Maou-sama ni Shoukan sareta kedo Kotoba ga Tsuujinai - Vol. 2 Ch. 16 - I Could Understand Her Words (1)

Really enjoyed the beginning of this manga, but the mc is too fucking dumb I can't deal with him and his idiotic faces anymore

Holy fuck FINALLY we might see some progress to something more than fucking verbal wingdings.

Casual slavery in an isekai? Take a drink... 🙄

It's not like realizing slavery is bad is a new concept, just ask Cyrus the Great.

people deadass thinking if he learns the language it will make the manga better 💀💀

on a side note, not enough Mary

@googoober learning it all at once would not make it better. Him learning bits and pieces or being to communicate with the odd person whether they be fluent in japanese or know broken japanese or older versions of it.

why so many ppl rushing this manga?? gtfo if u don't like the pacing lmao

Had a thought about why she's jumping straight to prostitution: maybe that's how her grandmother learned Japanese. If she learned the majority of it in the context of prostitution (not necessarily as a participant), then things may have gotten garbled badly when she taught it to the fox-loli. That could be why fox-loli thinks some of the things he says are related to wanting a prostitute when they're not.

*manga has actual progression*
readers: please don't rush the manga author, we need more cute wingding shenanigans

@0xdeade1f For christ sake, I said uncommon not non-existent. Can you people not read? Your own link supports what I said rather than contradict it. It mostly talks about the slave trade to the Islamic world rather than using those slaves in Europe.

I was never trying to take the moral high ground or something. I was just trying to counter the ridiculous argument that slavery is so common in isekai stories because they base their worlds on medieval Europe and that's what it was like there. Because it just fucking wasn't.

Ok i have to say it. Japanese people are weird. Hi I'm Allen,. and then they tack on BS to someone's name, no one wants or asks for. Not cool.

@SirAllen I think its more of a thing of respect in their culture, but Americans do the same thing. We call men that are older than us (such as our teachers) Mr. We call women Ms and Mrs. There are other things we call people as well, like if someone has a phd, you refer to them as Dr.
