It's almost amazing how different this series is to the healing hero. For one, this series isn't full of dark depressing shit that makes me not want to read; I actually like reading this series quite a bit. Which is more than I can say for the other one which is akin to falling into a net of complete buggery like a hooker with rent to pay in two days but she forgot and now is trying to scrounge up every pence she can.

How I hate the "fair prices" policy MCs always try to enforce without trying to understand why the prices are what they are: cities don't pop out of nowhere, so why the nearest one is at 80 km? Probably because it is too risky to stay near the dungeon: if he can afford to double the price is because only a few brave merchant are willing to travel a full day, in the middle of a desert, with the chance of demon attacks. If it really was only greed, everyone would try to get a piece of the cake and the prices would inevitably lower...

@Beregorn - "fair price" is an authentic medieval concept. MC isn't Demon Lord of Economics, so don't expect him to actually know much economics.
That said, any merchant worth his money should be able to explain the prices to any righteous person he encounters. After all, he probably has to do it at least once a week.
