I actually really like this ending. Sometimes romances don't pan out, and it sucks. It's a bittersweet moment, and something she will hold dear, even though her friend won't, at least not in the same way.

After 271-273 shoujo ai manga im reading/ finished reading this is the first bitter sweat ending where they didn't get together, great story tho and I enjoyed it a lot

Ooof, i don't know if I like this or hate this. At least Yukari found a motivation to get out of that shitty relationship and that's good, she will found someone else to fall in love time will heal. I would love to see a sequel about Yukari.

Horrible, horrible, horrible timing there.

Miki is not dumb, after yuka said that she liked her you can see her expression change as if she had a cold bucket of water poured into her and she pulls her hand back and says she likes her too, now without the physical contact.

Thing is... Miki does HAVE a boyfriend, yuka is being extremely selfish here but love rarely is selfless.

It does make me think that Miki was fully on board with the kiss and maybe more until the ugly face of feelings reared its head, she could not explore those feelings if she was in a relationship.

Horrible timing there yuka, if you were both single shit might have gone way more different
