I appreciate that a cultivationshit author tried to be self-aware about the mental consequences of the MC being a long-time Mary Sue for once, but he really didn't need to do it through a humongous wall of text about realization basic enough to be acknowledged in 2 sentences while the enemy stood there and waited for him to finish talking. It just solidified the image of this thing being all concept and no execution.
