hmmm, this chapter confused me quite a bit. We left with master saying that he would teach disciple transformation and instead disciple teaches master the breathing tech. I fail to grasp the sequence of actions since the master skipped the teaching entirely and went asking for weapons.

Teacher - remnant of destroyed sect, he had incomplete martial art. Now he reconstruct part of it with knowledge from disciple.
