I forgot the backstory of this manhwa, it's so long.
The mc was a master who died and reincarnated, right? But did he go back in time to his old body, or did he take over someone else's body? Or was he reborn as a baby?
If he took over someone else's body, did he keep their memories? And what were his thoughts on this body's grudges and family, etc.? I assume that he was like "don't worry, I'll avenge all these injustices you went through" like they usually do in this type of manhwa?

Yep, took over the body with memories intact. His feelings for his mother are genuine.
This mother is a mystery though. She doesn't have any cultivation(hidden maybe) and also knows a lot of cultivation secrets and can tell when her son breakthrough/gets stronger and has insider info on the 5 countries competitions.
