Masamune-kun no Revenge After School - Vol. 1 Ch. 7 - Makabe Masamune's Chapter

Awwww, I really liked the drama free stories like Horimiya.

>expecting an aimless series to last long
They don't deserve more because the author doesn't gives a shit about non main couple and won't let others move on with their life and love.
Yoshino and Nopan never will get a love interest themselves because author simply doesn't cares.

Also
>Shomin Sample was axe for this
Never will be forgiven

Thanks for the scans as always.
Just like the ending to the main series, these "after stories" felt aimless and halfhearted besides this last one and maybe Neko's. After stories are supposed to wrap up some lingering questions and show the characters moving forward in their own directions. Not endlessly stuck in the same shit they were for the whole duration of the main story. But like Kuroageha said, these side characters have no real thought put into them besides how they serve to further the main couple development.

good true ending to the series

also did he confess out loud or say it in his head? i cant tell when he said " even though i love you so much"

that's lucky...
No, FBI-san, I didnt mean that!

Wow, remind me to not read comment sections ever again. Warning to people to not read below, or you might get infected with shit taste and idiocy.

@givemersspls
You're hopeless then if you think an actual outcome (being together because author make it that way) is similar to leaving it up to you.

Also, the heroine of horimiya is a masochist not abusive 🤷

"utter disappointment" is how I would describe this epilogue if I was asked how I feel about this.
First off, as in epilogue is doesn't do anything, It doesn't explain how the situation and relation between characters evolved with time after the conclusion because, SPOILER, Nothing changed.
These 7 chapters are a statement from the author that: "nothing will change, but it's fine, Adagaki won, Masamune is happy"

It also doesn't serve the story itself all that much as not too much time separate the main story and this thing, which is maybe why everything is so stale and unwavering compared to the main story.
Now I wasn't looking toward an epilogue with drama but at this point I wonder what is even the goal to make almost a Volume worth of nothingness that could have been done a couple of extra chapter for the tankoubon release.

Friendly reminder that Shomin Sample (series running since 2012 and that had an anime adaptation in 2015) was axed, for this.
I'm also pretty sure that Shomin Sample couldn't really be "wrapped up" with a proper ending in 7 chapters and now Rex is going need to find some random Harem rom-com to take that spot again.

Buckle up Bois, next on the list is Masamune-kun no revenge Prologue, where we can observe young Adagaki and Masamune becoming friendly toward one another and see how some of the key flashback elements from the main series came to be, and with a bit of luck maybe we get an Actual volume worth of content, and not just page count.
