Masamune-kun no Revenge - Vol. 10 Ch. 48 - They Say Happiness Lies Vastly Far Beyond the Mountains

Lmao everybody's triggered arguing over "best girl". There's no objectively best girl get over it - it's a subjective matter. Why do you feel the need to be validated on what YOU like?

@Garrett
Repenting her whole life? Being at the side whom she serves is her job anyway, so that doesn't count. The only repenting she did was when she started to help Masamune. And that is basic fix what she fucked up before, since she did it for 2 people.

@Istvan90623
Did you even read the latest chapters?
And don't act like Adagaki nickname wasn't "Cruel Princess".
Characters evolve, and everyone got their redemption except Yoshino... until now.

I can’t wait to taste those sweet salty tears of everyone saying best girl won

So much hate on both sides... The manga is not finished yet and, as things are now, it seems like Masamune feels better with Yoshino. He wasn't that interested in Aki, he's only purpose was to get revenge on her which turn out to be useless and started dating her because of a misunderstanding. He had only clashes with Aki till late in the manga, while it was a slow, behind the scenes, development with his master, not too well described hought. So, as happens in reality too, you feel better with the boy/girl closer to you, so the ending with Yoshino makes sense. I dont' know if in another chapter the author can pull an Aki turn and end with a Masa x Aki. But this hate is not justified, read the manga again and you'll see that they had/ have a lot of issues. What a long poem...

Wooo best girl (boobs) won. Oppai-ship has finished its voyage and returned safely.
Seriously.. Thats the only justification anyone had for Yoshino being best girl. Boobs... We don't deny it. We like, what we like. We're simple readers.

Let's be honest here, this kind of stories had only three kinds of endings:
Aki's ending - Stereotypical main girl wins, issues & misunderstanding resolved and mutual love.
Yoshino ending - The underdog heroine. The "support character that evolves into realizing their own feelings" trope. An uncommon scenario but not that rare.
The god-forsaken-everyone-is-happy-status-quo-no-resolution-ending - Everyone would have flip the table if this was the case

It really was up to the whim of the author which way the tree will fall and its just decided to not go to "oh so conventional main girl route".

I was hoping for the fujinomiya ending, or the kujuuro but this is fine i suppose.

One of the World Wonder that I enjoy before death. The ending of this manga :)

I'm at lost here. Can someone point me to the right direction? Why and how did Yoshino manage to have feelings for Makabe and vice versa? I'm on Neko ship and I can fully understand if they end up together and same could be said to Aki. But to Yoshino? I got lost there. Did I miss something?

On one hand it's good that we get someone other than the main girl winning. On the other I just wish the manga as a whole had been better, I dropped this a couple times and only picked it back up upon hearing best girl was gonna win. Really everything regarding Fujinomiya might as well be scrapped and the manga as a whole would improve tremendously to be quite honest.

Sooo basically Yoshino was the cause for both MC/FMC's hardships but was given a silver spoon ending?
Heh this manga was a mess tbh.

@Mikan. I agree. I'm loving this ending. The last few chapters have been nothing if not innovative. But the horribly clichéd first 30 or so chapters made me want to quit reading this several times. in particular Fujinomiya, the always superciliously smiling, deceitfull light-haired love rival was such an annoyingly boring cliché that this manga would have been far richer without.
But I like how the main girl doesn't get the guy. I also think it makes Aki a far more interesting character because it caused her to grow as a person and show an emotional strength and assertiveness we rarely see in black-haired female characters in these kinds of stories... Or any stories really.

imo i really have no problem with this ending. this manga was literally written from the beginning as a cliche. i didn't expect anything, and there weren't exactly any "non-cliche" endings either.
