Not gonna lie, once a week is way to little. The more you have sex with your partner, the tighter the bonds form. I have been in relationships where sex was just a couple times a year. It does lead to problems and cause breakups.

@Short_Circut yeah, i was fine with it when it was just once every few months. But i did want more. Both partners need to find an amount that works for them tho, one person imposing it on another is a little much.

The reason why we broke up was her just basically shoving me out of her life for a year when she was really depressed and stuff. Was really hard to watch someone you love destroy themselves. Especially when they would rather do that then rely on you.

Hmmm... technically, her reasoning in her head is reasonable... they are high schoolers and have lots of things they need to focus on. But her explanation sucks.

That said, I think the best way to lower his sex drive is to just have a lot of sex. Once it becomes more normal, there is going to naturally be less excitement.
