Maseki Gurume: Mamono no Chikara wo Tabeta Ore wa Saikyou! - Ch. 9 - Awakening

Rather than getting mad at the MC, shouldn't they look into why the hell is that examiner in charged? He should've stopped the moment MC showed his skill.

am i the only one that feels like there's a missing page between page 14 and 15?...

it isn't one page that is missing
it is a big double page (so two pages at it is...) that is missing between page 14 and 15

(you can see it on the raw page linked in the description page)

Chapter has been reuploaded w/the missing page.
Based on the comments on LHT's site, the double-page was missing when they released the chapter yesterday.

Considering the cost of the crystal flower... Uh, having it dangle loosely on the wrist is just asking to have it liberated. Getting a fence buyer for such a thing would be stupid hard though.

@IMACOP His job is to test prospective students and see what kind of abilities they have and their level of skill. From his perspective, sure, Ain can whip out a crazy skill that gives him extra arms, but can he control it? If so, how well can he control it? Is it the kind of thing that could go berserk and cause a ton of collateral damage? Plus, he also seems to be testing their character (part of the test is not announcing your name, which would be hard for nobles used to leaning on the power of that name to get their way), so is Ain the type of person who will fly into a rage at petty insults towards himself or the type who'll get angry on others' behalves? Him getting chewed out by Chris and his grandfather is less because he went overboard against the instructor and more because he broke his promise not to allow others to see his skill; promises are kind of a big thing among actual nobility.

@Vincentius The moment a kid displaying such a high level skill, and one that even the uber examiner have trouble with, he should've stop and treat it accordingly, not egg on it. Pushing him to see how far he can control it? That's what's the school is for. What if the kid can't control it and killed himself? What if the examiner can't control it and get himself and the kid killed? Or either one is maimed? If the examiner is accidentally killed, what then? Mind you, MC's not even accepted into the school yet. What will you say, a school that tests a kid to death on his entrance exam? A prince killed his school examiner?

The examiner took it too far, plain and simple. He's just there to see if a kid have some skills, how's his personality, and that's it. Not push his opponent to the limits. Children are being examined, not candidates for some special forces green beret shit.

@ghostt Cause typical japanese MC, the ideal humble-braggart.

Yep, all the academy examiners should be fired and then force fed to adventurers with 5x better skills than them.

This is no way to treat 7yr old kids, nobility exams or not.

"Dont look down upon me (the adult)" if i had a dime for every time a japanese used this line... it's like they cant treat kids with some respect/maturity, so why should they show any to you?

Lol, no, Ain, public affairs does not mean cheating on your significant other(s) in public. There's no need to get all sparkly-eyed like that.

how is that thing not broken yet if she treats it like she does in that last panel?

I still can't see the goal of this manga.
If its just romance, I really don't mind it.
