I thought it was stupid of her to just eat that shit, but I realized she's from modern Korea, where ginseng is advertised all over the place as a universal traditional medicine that strengthens your body and cures diseases and all that jazz. She probably didn't think it would be bad for her at all. It's probably natural to just nom that plant as a Korean, especially since it's highly valuable and expensive, and it's supposed to be good for you, right? lol (Source: am Korean, I would also have eaten that just to see if I got superpowers or something)

@Geohie eehm yeah, okay, but still that freaking plant cried before and she treated it like a human (in my confusion I would probably try the same, so good reaction) and then be curious and pulling it out, okay, but now eating?!? even if it looks like Ginseng, some reasons for not eating:
first: even similar looking plants can be completely different (she's a educated adult woman, she knows that!)
second: you are in a fantasy world, so everything can be different
third: the plant cried, does korean ginseng that too?!?
and four: your stepmother is poisoning you, you made enemies of two powerful families, you are isekaied, your whole being should be on 200% cautioness, at least show that thing the captain you more or less trust...

yeah, I know it's a plot tool for the author to make her a powerful martial artist in short time, but please be a little more intelligent about it, something like oh I remember I read in a book or my father once told me about... anything that would make her action believable
