Masters of Lightning Knives

Okay, going to mark everything after this as spoiler just in case.
The fluctuation of the MC's personality was way too drastic IMO.
Chapter 1 - he starts off as someone who just lost his father, never knew his mother, and without a path to follow. He seems to be genuinely grateful with what his father taught him.
Chapter 2+ - He is a smug little shit with the attention span of a pissant. How did he learn such a great artistic ability from his father when he can't remember anything the master tells him?
Am I missing something?

@_Ryan @Shyvan Look, I don’t know about you, but I’d rather be able to read the story then wait 7 years for someone to pick it up. The choice is yours: wait for it, or be able to read it. I’m not judging you here, I’m just saying there are 2 options.

the translation looks like it was ripped off from another translation *russian group...

@Kerodonasium
Hidden factor:
It is more likely that a good group starts translating it if there's not already a different group doing it.
Therefore I'd rather have no translation over a bad translation.

It's not like we're super starved for content, I've had to drop multiple things due to a different group picking it up and heavily reducing the quality (moonlight sculptor being the most recent).
Manhwa seem to suffer from this a lot more than manga, and in regards to manhua, the baseline quality for those is already in the ditch.

should i read this or is this a extremly cliche book? it seems ok to me, but i eally dont know

If you're looking for a wuxia or martial arts story with some kind of progression or development with a cast of characters and a plot, this isn't it.

I guess it fills some comedy niche, maybe HK sitcom humour from the 70s? Definitely not for me, I have no idea what it's supposed to be-- perhaps some kind of parody?-- utterly pointless in my book and a waste of time; even more so than the bottom of the barrel revenge reincarnation wuxias that just blather on about pseudo-Daoist nonsense to sound cool. There's a note in there about memes, but I certainly didn't notice anything meme-worthy.

Well, back to groan-inducing trashy isekai I suppose....

for anyone currently passing by and looking at the comments. the manwha is still going on and is currently at around 100 chapters as of right now, just that no groups find it worth while to translate it currently due to low popularity on mangadex. Thus if you enjoyed the first 15 chapters or so make sure you follow the series and rate it an appropriate score. Hopefully a group will pickup the manwha and start translating soon. but as it stands not enough interest for id imagine most groups to translate it. as every scanlation group is purely funded based off donations!

@DiBBz and anyone who might be interested. Sub scans is doing a collab with apep scans, we are just waiting for the to upload to chp 15 iso we can post 16 :)

once i read a cn novel where the mc was injured and was going to hide in a village, for fun he started teaching a young man the same way that old man teaches, in the end the young man had a muscle problem, injured for life mc just laughed, from the beginning he knew he was destroying the young man's dreams , but he did it just for fun because the young man didn't doubt him

so the mc of this webtoon is really good and consistent, he complains and etc, because it is common sense that these things that the old man forces him to do, only make him worse and the old man doesn’t explain. Anyway, I don't think it's fair to have a lot of comments complaining about the MC or making fun of him because he doesn't want to train or do what the old man says
