@TitanAnteus I really don't think you should treat this special chapter as connected to the main story, in any way. If there were a long time skip in the main series they would surely let us know. Also from the way the characters act I doubt that's the case anyway.
This chapter was only used to introcude those who haven't heard or read this manga before to the characters and the setting.
