Nope. She used her magic blessing to manipulate time to maximize her damage output and she not only hit him once, she hit him multiple times. 100x the speed in comparison to reality. Can you imagine the amount to power from something like that?? He should be a bloody mess on the ground with broken bones everywhere. No normal human being (no matter how pudgy you are) will be able to get up, hold a gun steadily, and take aim to shoot as successfully as he did. Sounds like BS due to plot. If the author gives an explanation for this though, then I'd accept it but right now, it makes no sense.

@Shdill the danger of handguns is that they can still be used in a weakened state. Yes, he got beaten up, but let's not forget what he is: a noble. Nobility at the time do take rigorous training so even if he does look like that, his body is still quite sturdy and won't give up too easily under pain. Not to mention, if you absolutely hate someone with every fiber of your being like getting beaten to a crap, you'd desperately cling on to consciousness just to deliver one last hit before a coup de grace. And pistols are the perfect weapon for it.

Edit: Let's not forget Scarlett has already tired herself out seriously with the non-stop battle feast she had, so her punches would've diminished in power, especially since she also has some broken bones, a strained posture as well, which would reduce the effectiveness of her punches.
