You know what's weirder than the smurf dwarf?

An isekaied Japanese that makes no soysauce nor miso nor rice.

Also the existence of that Chinese man explains the dwarf's tea. In ancient China, tea can be used in place of currency.

man... someone must tell author to stop with the "elf style" because the only elf thing there is the elf eating it

How did they manage to create a civilization if they can't even figure out how to transport eggs?

@Scrabbleman I think the adults in the village started selling barley to the dwarves as well, so when ever the kid tried to sell some they had a stockpile and told him they didn't need any at that time. Due to that he thought they didn't want to buy from him at all anymore.

@Yanagi
Soysauce is actually extremely hard to make and takes a very long time, some recipes take a year or two to complete. If it's your first time making it, you'd be thinking at some point, "Has this become sewer water? Should I just throw it out?" And also, Ai-chan can't remember him coming across soybeans anywhere, so there's no point in making soysauce if there is no soybean.

Same with rice. He hasn't encountered rice.

Are you sure it's Xiufu and not Shufu? Because at the end Saburo imagined a housewife making a country.

Shufu = Housewife.

@Aichan Well there's also the fact it would be hard to make and experiment with any type of fermented foods because the locals would chop your head off for wasting food. It would look like your deliberating letting good food rot.

Why the fuck do they have to talk like that ... author... why ... got a headache from reading their dialogue ...

Japanese, Scottish, now it seems Chinese, it's nice to see this story has some variety in the people that came from Earth, rather than all of them being from Japan as usual.

So the adults cut him out so they wouldn’t have to pay him but then again his only job was just to guide them. Still sucks
