There are lots of restrictions on the power of the wish that were not stated here. Even him turning back time was kinda crazy....
I remember reading a bit of the book for this a long time ago and I liked it so i have high hopes for this one

@fiveboxes um, no. He wanted to slaughter Seraph as well because she gave him false hopes, even though it was for his well being.

She asked him to chase after the 'Zero Code' even though it couldn't revive dead people because this dude was already pretty mental at the time and she gave him a goal to focus on since he'll just become more insane and self-destructive if he didn't have one. The dude was already suffering from erotophonophilia and schizophrenia, so yea, he was batshit crazy. She was the only angel he trusted until then, so ofc he wanted to shred her apart.
