MEMORIZE - Ch. 25

I just wish that his relationships felt a little more than completely insincere, their not friends or subordinates but pets as was said before. Hopefully some genuine sentiment comes eventually.

Although he looks like a sociapath, at least he's cooperative when it comes to his team. Perhaps right now, he sees them as a deadweight, but I think his team would gladly reciprocate his efforts for them

from the little I remember from the novel he's a sociopath, like for real

hall plains really messed him up, all his actions so far were meticulously planned... which is what you'd expect from someone who survived it all and is giving it another go, reason why this is one of the series I'm really invested in

@zdarkbrz_816 that's what makes it interesting IMO, otherwise you end up with the unrealistic goody two-shoes MCs that pollute these type of stories.

@Rin2k there is a pretty large gap between being a sociopath and being a goody two-shoes. It's a shame these types of stories usually just pick one or the other instead of going a bit in-between.

@kursedkaiju uhh, you sure about that? do remember he spent 10 years in that place prior to this, if that doesn't make you mentally unstable to some degree I'd have bigger concerns for the skills of the author.

@Rin2k You do realize going through a terrible situation doesn't just turn you into a sociopath right?

You can be damaged emotionally/mentally without being a complete sociopath, hence why I said it's a shame the authors of these kinds of stories usually go with a sociopath or goodie two-shoes and never something in-between.

@kursedkaiju Hard disagree. So 10 years of killing other people won't make you mentally unstable to some extent? gotcha.

By the way, you seem to "look the other way" when he clearly was questioning himself if his approach to his companions was the right call in previous chapters, which a sociopath/mentally unstable person doesn't ever entertain the thought.
