Metropolitan City's Yin Yang Miracle Doctor - Ch. 23

What really gets my blood boiling is the fact this perfectly reflects some hospital practices around the world.
Doctors care more of profit and gains then the welfare of the patient they made a oath to protect and care for.
Can't pay, you dont get the care you need... such a simple train of thought.

God, cancer is so easy to cure 🤭
However chapter-uploading masters like cloww are way harder to find 😂

Trowing out peoples who can't pay is a medical procedure? F*ck...

Yeah. Sad to say but this is quite common. Government hospitals is abit better but the availability issue is still a problem, some people have to wait months for a doctor's appointment. If u want fast, no choice but to pay. And if you can't afford to pay later, it is very hard to face the reality of the problem. The private hospital will usually try to send patients to the nearest available government or charity funded hospital or ngo centres. But...for a capitalist country? No clue. I don't live there ,I can't say i can relate seeing patients getting kicked out, but I was told this is also quite common. But it is only hearsay. China is a communist country, you would think they would take care of their own...but who knows. I don't live there.

WTF! MC is a blithering idiot. If healthcare isn't free, the hospitals need people to pay or they won't have enough money to stay open. How does he expect the hospital to pay their expenses? He should go complain to the CPC or President Winnie the Pooh, not random hospital managers.

the banality of evil.
@reika it's true. however, indeed it shows the question of the bottom line. it's actually partially why healthcare in US is so fucked up, because of the hippocratic oath thing. basically cannot turn away sick patients even if they cannot pay.

not that i believe in the sanctity of life though.

@minikaiba The banality of evil... yes, a nice saying. Healthcare in my country is pay as you go. They bill you every single day and you can't get surgery or any lifesaving medicine you need if you can't pay.
