I dont think they are in the same universe cause earlier in the police station one of the guys, i think it was the mayor’s secretary or something said he was from the yang family and they never Realised it was the capital yang family Even though its the same last name, its a common thing in chinese manga i think where last names like yang and such are common and even if they are the same last name doesnt mean that they are apart of that family (idk why). I think yang is just a common last name authors use for chinese manga.
