Metropolitan System - Vol. 1 Ch. 64 - Metropolitan System Chapter 64

@addictive "make someone wear a green hat" is the Chinese version of "NTR" or "cuckhold" . I hope you know what "NTR" means. So basically MC wants to steal her from her husband.

Swear to god, we didn't know it was ntr. There was no novel to take reference from, and when we start translating, we only notice this much much later. Will add the ntr tag later.

"In China “wearing a green hat” (戴绿帽子 or dài lǜ mào zǐ) is an expression that Chinese use when a woman cheats on her husband or boyfriend because the phrase sounds similar to the word for cuckold. This apparently dates back to the Yuan dynasty when the relatives of prostitutes were forced to wear green hats."

No problem @cloww, it's not like the entire manhua revolves around it, right? Especially since the MC is doing it, nobody is going to mind anyway. If it is anything like WN of
Sono mono. Nochi ni...
that's when the tag would really matter.

@ TranslationTeam: By my understanding, chaebol means something along the lines of "part of an influential business family", but "heir to a big company" seems like a reasonable enough alternative translation within the current context. Chaebol doesn't have any special meaning that I can discern that would give it reason to be left in its original form (even if it may lose a bit of nuance), and the speech bubble seems to have enough space for one of the translated phrases. If there is a reason to prefer chaebol (or if my interpretation is lacking), do please note it for us. :)

There isn't really a single word to express it, closest is probably ym aka chinese young master or "fuerdai" but it's not really accurate cuz it means second generation, mc isn't really a second generation, he's a self made businessman. Also, not many people know what that is, as even in novels it's not generally used as a common term. So ....yeah. chaebol is korean, but alot of kr novel, manhwa and even drama series use the term widely. We just go with what's easier to identify. Tho perhaps i shouldn't use that word. It was the spur of the moment kind of thing. Problem with this manhua is, they use some really coarse and laymen chinese language, not the usual simple mandarin. Some of the lingo is quite hard to translate if you aren't verse in China city culture. Its like the word " majide" only tokyo people would totally get it back when the word was first introduced. Or "niubi" will try to add translation notes in the future.

@cloww Not really NTR or Netorare but it's Netori. Netori is when the one who's doing the cucking is the protagonist instead of the protagonist being the cuck. So NTR doesn't really "fit" per say.

This MC is seriously power tripping with his silver-platter abilities. It's be nice if he lost it all and had to deal with the fallout.
