Whoa, whoa, whoa now. Is it possible for a guy and a girl to be just friends without romantic feelings? Absolutely. Absolutely.

...Notice the "romantic feelings" stipulation is not necessarily mutually inclusive with sex for men. And pretty much any guy would be up for taking a ride at some point. In short, no, at least at some point your guy friends have almost certainly wanted to at least fuck you, ladies. Whether they want legit romance/relationship as well... That's a different story.

My take on this is that his denial of having feelings for her is possibly more to the tune of "yet," or "I don't want to admit I have feelings for someone again and then have them crushed underfoot. Oh god, if she rejected me the same way as that other girl after comforting me about my insecurities from then I might actually want to die. So I'm going to believe with all my might that these are just feelings of admiration."
