Miageru to Kimi wa - Vol. 2 Ch. 13 - Your Smiling Face

It's love!!!!...don't fight the feeling just let it bloom and bask in it...
Don't be afraid takamine-san is nothing like the girl you confessed to before...she won't shatter your heart and pride as a man...

This isn't nearly as good or interesting as I thought it would/could be...

His bones or whatever on the ninth page looked freaky xD ...... but damn it's going to take a while for them to get together eh?

*Dirnt!*
I have to admit I have to crank the amp up quite loud and do Pete Townsend things to my guitars to get that fx.

This'll get reaaaally boring if they get in a romantic relationship. Stay on the platonic love please.

I'm usually not a big fan of a character actively wanting to maintain status quo for dramatic reasons but considering this manga kicked off with a nasty rejection it actually makes sense.

" Something is wrong, my Shuu Maiko senses are tingling" 😂 .

Wtf? are there people who aren't wanting a romantic relationship in an LOVE-COM? o_O

@Panino what are you ? a bot parrot?
you make the same comment in every chapter since chapter 6, if for you "isn't nearly as good or interesting as I thought it would/could be..." why do you keep seeing this for a month and a half then? if you dont like it from the beginning then drop it and dont flooding the comments zone.

@Mnuchinboo

Honestly, i don't know either. I think it's because Takamine was hoping that by being friends with him, he'd be able to let go of his height insecurity. Yuuki kept bringing up his pacing as slow, so to not make Takamine worry(?) he apologises for it and even tells her to leave him behind when it rained. I think he started to feel that Takamine was starting to not feel happy being with him, since she was being stiff and not talking that much, as well as wanting to go their separate paths, furthering his insecurities. However, when Yuuki stated he was happy with being with her and thanked her, and he saw her smiling, he started to fall in love. Which leads to this chapter, where his insecurities about love start to resurface after the "smiling" makes him realize he loves her. However, as much as he tries to hide it, somehow Takamine can sense somethings wrong.

To surmise, i think Yuuki, up until the "Smiling" was somewhat using Takamine as a bandage/therapist for what had happened at the confession. Honestly though, i'm just grabbing at straws.

@Scarlettgie
"why do you keep seeing this for a month and a half then?"

To see if it'll ever gets as good or interesting as I thought it would/could be...
