[edit] Read the note at the end. I would have gone with Go. It is pretty well known in the English speaking world.

P.S. Hikaru no Go is also a great manga.

Yeah, translators need to lose the habit of translating weiqi/go as 'chess'. It's not like people are under some kind of impression that 'chess' is the only board game in existence or something...
