I lost count of how many times this last chapter made me scream "what", that was a crazy finale.

To think the culprit was the car all along, so both Midnight and his girlfriend die, however in a way everyone gets a happy ending? this is so weird, no loose ends that i can see, and yet it is so bittersweet, what was Midnight life for? to advance that professor's research? man... it was a good read.
