The idea is good but it feels to sloppy. I love the Male Lead, he shows great maturity. But the FL seems too naive to me. Like a loner who gets jealous and wants attention? I’m not sure how to put it.

I prefer her to be a loner and distance, just like him and they both kick it from there.

I’ve read a lot of shoujos, some good, some bad, naive FLs seem the most common. I should had made a list of my favorites where they stay real in relationships or at least progress from their naiveness and realize how great he is
