Mieruko-chan - Vol. 3 Ch. 21

Even if his mother was like that, later on he chose to hurt cats. I think this is a good way to get rid of him.

I guess the ghost possessed the teacher and from therein killed every cat. With his body or urged him into doing so.

I guess this explains why he threw away the stew the neighbor woman made for him; this kind of quasi-motherly behavior disgusts him because his actual mother was so wicked.

Holy shit now that he's dead he's gonna follow her as a ghost.
Possible that he himself could see them, and now knows she can as well.
If he has that knowledge as a ghost... Poor Miko. Well, thankfully there's the third chance still.

@Punch_Ghost I don't think his dead expression is directly due to his mother i.e. possession but probably from all the fucked up shit he probably went through as a result from his mother. He probably adopted the kitten and hid it and when his mother found out she killed him or made him kill it and it fucked him up ever since. I'm fine with however this character develops and I don't think this is a cop-out. The guy has trauma and he shows it - I don't think he's going to be entirely good either.

To anyone trying to defend that sick bastard: cool motive, still murder. I hope he's dead and that Mieruko figures out how to dispel the ghost.

that kind of tragic backstory for a villain sucks. sometimes people are just assholes, you don't need to give them abusive parents.

I bet this is how we'll find out how ghosts really work since he'll probably become one and eventually turn into one of those monsters.

his mother 's face looks so funny . and his funny back-story reminds me of this comic below . no matter the reasons , there is no excuse for being an evil d!ck , he must pay for his sins with his life .

if it turns out that he's actually helping the cats and didn't do nothing wrong it would be so fucking lame

i don't know why he jumped out for the cat but i can say for sure that this teacher guy isn't any good, you can clearly see the differences between a good spirit and a real bad one in chapter 4(the author even clearly said that "don't judge a book by its cover", that alone even emphasizes what a good spirit should look like through the illustration of the thug guy's spirits), this guy is clearly haunted by the ill-intent spirits, not blessed by them, you can also see that he was haunted immediately upon encountering another "bad shaped* spirit in chapter 4 in his meeting with miko chan and her friend, that bad shaped spirit even cursed him to die right by his ear
Another example is miko chan's dad, even though he is spirit, he is in really good shape and blesses his family
if this teacher dies in this accident, i can only say that this is his karma, he pays for what he has done up till now, like, seriously, having a bunch of *bad shaped* spirits haunt you day by day, cursing you to die, his luck has been really something for him to live this long
