Also, the other spirit sister came back which is cool.
And also, we have no idea what the "third time" means, we speculate it means that she only has 3 chances to be saved and she used the last one but maybe we're wrong and it has some other meaning.

Still kind of weird that the cats are black and terrible looking. Is it because they weren't loved enough before they died or because HE was carrying them around like baggage. You know like his regrets... Just a guess.
Edit: just had a thought. Maybe the cats were actually following the mom and not the guy.

This guy is using them as a means of attonement and a such wasn't exactly the best option. The second guy was shown in one of the extras to really love the cats because they remind him of his deceased wife.
