@cynical_dude_ i read it as being a comparison to mieruko and hana's powers. he signals to lil chibimiko when they are next to the ghost that they "need to hurry" with their fake act of not noticing the spirit next to them (which is a strategy also employed by the godmother, so 2/2 of the adults we see that have skin in the game)
