i think Romm became full medium already, and he's trying to revert back to normal. Usually doing sacrificial ritual would be able to control spirits to an extent, so i don't really understand the reason he search for money. But maybe, the money is used for creating publicity stunts, to attract other potential medium for returning back to normal?
