I don't usually read age-gap romances, regardless of who's older, but, as I had read (and dropped) another age-gap romance where the woman was also nine years older than the guy, I thought I'd check this out in comparison. Whereas rating that other series as a "1" would be extremely generous, I actually enjoyed this one enough to give it an "8". If it was serialized, I doubt I'd continue to read it, though.
