Comparing with the LN translation so far, it seems the manga's chosen to establish the beastkin racism earlier.

It also seems the manga will be spreading out Ronia's backstory throughout the manga chapters, unlike the LN which dumped out her backstory at the start before going into the fluffy Cafe Mattari part.

For those still not convinced, suggested you read the LN via the novelupdates link, specifically chp 1 parts 1-3 which give insight into her awful family life and her relationship with Schneider before Misano came in.
