@dokidoki Then again, in chapter 1 Neon misunderstand and think Nono and Mikan were going out together and she seem shocked but not in the jealous way but more in a flustered way. I kinda think it's either Neon thinking that now Mikan is dating someone she will lost her time with her, last chapter as Neon saying Mikan is like a sister for her because she is an only child so i believe Neon can fear Mikan will no longer be like a sister or (and i wish it's that) she is shocked that both of them are so open about their relation when her and Nono haven't really been to the dating stage and might shocked that Nono isn't in her face asking if they can start dating.

Neon isn't in love with Mikan. This is definitely the result of such a massive secret being kept from her despite how close she feels with Mikan. Probably a bit of jealousy that her friend is being taken from her, as well.

People seem to forget Neon's side effects along with her being a tsundere.

I don't think the problem is Neon being a tsundere but rather that you don't feel the impact of the confession in 11/12. Generally when something like that happen (confession and acceptance of it) the two characters act more like a couple like Mikan/Chika here or any other side couple we've seen but here if you don't know about the confession then you barely see the difference with the others chapters since Neon/Nono still act like nothing happened.

@Lilliwyt Neon hasn't accepted her yet, she just said they were gonna stay friends for the moment, did you skip her dialogue because of how much you hate her? You can't expect her to accept her before the final chapter.

@Medusa For one, Neon is barely likable as a character (at least for me), she is mean 90% of the time when you see her. Two, she said close friends not just friends.

So what happen in Ch.12 never happen ? To me Neon had already accepted Nono but the author made it like it never happen after that. And if this had to happen in the final chapter then what was the point of Nono's confession ? If nothing changed from before than both chapters was waste of time.

@Lilliwyt Close friends is still not dating. And the chapters made Neon aware of Nono's feelings and made them get a bit closer without starting to date yet, so whatever happens in the final chapter doesn't feel rushed. It's called pacing.

A bad one if you ask me. I still seriously Nono/Neon should have been a side couple like all the others ones we had and made Mikan the MC with the shop as the main focus. The relation between Nono/Neon was the starting point for the manga but get barely any attention after the 1st volume and worse but Nono barely feel like a MC at all, she is absent most of the chapter and even when she is here you don't have that MC vibe a MC should have. Like how many chapter after Vol.1 have Nono as the main focus ? Only one, Ch.11 as Ch.12 is more a Neon chapter. If it was a SoL about the earshops then i will have been ok with the path but not here.
