theres actually not a lot of sex in this, most women in the “harem” he doesn’t bang and he gets emotionally writer-cucked more than once when a girl he likes is taken away via forced writing (not actual NTR). Doesn’t do it with the yandere either so that ruined it for me as well. A long read for little to no payoff, like most Japanese “romance/harem/etc”

I do not entirely regret reading this, but I also regret it at the same time. First of all, how can a person who researches a novel be a super popular college professor. Maybe Japan has a college system that is so much different that I sound like an idiot, but it still confuses me. Secondly, the MC barely changes at all from start to finish. At the beginning he is a pussy and at the end he is a pussy who can talk to women and has slightly more confidence. The story might actually be a good read if they make a sequel with more romance between the aunt and mc, as well as popping it off with his cousin. (btw I am ok with the incest because I treat aunt as a aunt-in-law and the cousin as a step-cousin. This would make the story much easier to read). The ending feels way to rushed and makes you feel empty when you are done reading it. It gives the same feeling as the ending of Akame Ga Kill or Charlotte, where the mc is basically cucked and you never get to see any serious relationships.

And yeah the ending where mc and aunt "breaks up" is kinda rushes
