Yeah, there are occasions where stealing someone's spouse because they are in a bad way is a good thing, but most of the time it's not. Usually in stories like this, the 3rd party has a warped perception of the main parties relationship and in reality uses that warped perception to act like a giant asshole while pretending to be a "nice guy".

Are you kidding? He's a creep. Touching a woman who's asleep, even if it's just touching her hair, is an absolute no-no. It'd be a bit different if he was her boyfriend, but he's known her all of a few minutes. He's lucky that Mr Yandere didn't haul off and punch him, which woulda been no less than he deserved. This creep is going to be nothing but trouble for the MC.

That may be so but, in this case, this creep is not taking that into consideration since he's never asked her if she'd be okay with it, and he's only known her for a few minutes. He's just doing it because he's a creep that does not have sufficient respect for women. As a man, I find him disgusting but I understand that women forgive certain innappropriate actions if the they think the guy is "hot".
