Miniamaru Kareshi - Vol. 2 Ch. 8

I hate people like this new guy who believe they have the right to butt into someone else's relationship because it's not what you think it should be.

This guy kind of rubs me the wrong way. He keeps making assumptions off of a few interactions instead of directly asking her how she feels.

So is being embarrassed about calling someone by their first name actually a thing in Japan? it feels like such a weird thing to be like that with but I guess that’s just my disconnect with their culture and how they view things

@skytempest 3rd wheel isn't the only one rubbing me the wrong way. So is Iroha. Just exactly when did she and 3rd wheel become such good friends, indeed, friends at all? Let's just hope this doesn't go down the typical route of the girl spending more time with the 3rd wheel (who pretends to be her friend but who is really intent on stealing her away from her boyfriend) instead of her boyfriend just to cause unnecessary drama.

@Rxlvo You would think that she'd feel more embarrassed about calling some random guy she just met, oh, I mean her new male "friend", by his first name than her boyfriend. But I'm neither a girl nor Japanese so what do I know?!

@SundayHaze right? The new guy is kind of creepy and intrusive but her boyfriend is way worse. He's clingy, stalkerish, violates her boundaries, and is now dictating her relationship with her friend. Ideally, as the relationship progresses he'll realise he's behaving like a criminal and change for the better, but she's so weirdly naive and forgiving that I'm not sure it's going to happen. The power imbalance is way too much, it almost feels like a predator dating a child.

Jesus, this has all the hallmarks of an abusive relationship. He controls who she gets to give her contact info to, gets jealous when she is even a little bit friendly to another guy, and let's not forget following her around like a stalker. What's worse is her believing the things he says, like "So it's wrong to give out your contact info while in a relationship?" It's creepy.

I think Tsubasa is just a bit of an idiot. The boyfriend is way worse. He knows exactly what he's doing, and he's constantly forcing Iroha to do stuff it's really creepy.

Ugh... is so shallow that i want to throw up. The boy saw her twice and suddenly "i just want her to be happy". WTF? Is there anyone with a minimum of common sense in this?

Tbh, im rooting for this to turn into a thriller since for a romcom is just too damn boring.

I prefer the boyfriend because he is not delusional like the rival... and he is not wrong about not giving the contact info he literally saw the rival touch her yet he didn't told her and still helped him with the study.
He is doing his best to not being heavy atm.

Heavy= super possessive and obsessive, if someone I knew was dating someone like this I’d be worried about them
