Mirai no Fu Fu Desu Kedo?

@alonerone

It's not actually over, the 'completed' thing shows up like that for a lot of mangas. You'll know when a manga actually ends based on when a chapter's title has the words 'END' in a dark blue box next to it.

@alonerone, more specifically, what “Pub. status: Completed” means is that the original publication came to completion.

Indeed, even when a chapter is marked “End”, that doesn't necessarily mean that the translation into the corresponding language is complete. Sometimes there is a follow-up instalment (and sometimes intermediate chapters are not yet translated).

If a work is truly popular then, even when the original series has ended, the characters may come back. Consider Kase-san and…, which was completed with five volumes but is now followed by Yamada and Kase-san.

Of course, you can help to keep creators and publishers motivated to produce characters of the sort that you like; buy either the original series or the licensed translations (when they appear) that contain such characters.

I'm a yuri fan and all, to the point where I'm often pretty uncritical of yuri, but I don't like this one. I don't like the dynamic between the two of them, the small one is annoying as hell and the taller one is more quietly annoying in her own way and they're both spending most of their time trying to one-up each other. They rub me the wrong way.

I'm not super in love with this, but there is one thing I like about how the author chose to frame it.

Namely, the choice to make the title super-explicit about the genre and its ultimate conclusion, and then using that to free themselves to practice proper show-it-don't-say-it storytelling (but without any will-they-won't-they ambiguity) for the first several chapters.

With one girl shown clearly going through struggling with her feelings, but without the usual soliloquies or asides that would normally be used to make it explicit, it feels way more nuanced and natural than the usual hammer-over-the-head approach that manga tends to take.

How could this be abandoned...
Such a fluffly wholesome story. Really sad. I was going for my 3rd read but is frustrating to know has been so long with no updates.

I really really hope someone picks this up , i forgot its existence and stumbled upon it while re-reading the shoujo Ai list
