Guys, it wasn't axed. Have you ever thought that maybe it was meant to be only this long? There are mangas that are not created to be money milkers like Bleach or Nisekoi. There are mangas that are only 4 chapters long. You don't need long serialization to tell a story.

There are also mangakas who have short attention span and can't work on long serializations. Some mangas are made just to fit inside a single tankobon or inside a few magazine spreads only. It's better if the ending is wrapped up well when the mangaka wishes it instead of being ended when the mangaka no longer feels for it.
