As you say, if he wanted to kill her he would just kill her. What's the point in messing around with scrolls?

Plus, he's made it pretty obvious that he likes her. Even if she might not believe that it's a romantic like.

The art got super polished. I appreciate the extra effort they took. I didn't mind the old way, the characters were still beautiful, but the extra detail is nice.

Also about Arwin just popping up... Latte knows he put a tracking device in Miss-Placed Eyes (doll), he told her he did, and he told her to take care of it and always carry it with her. She doesn't even like the doll, why would she carry it around for no reason? That's why she made sure to have it's hair brushed and take it with her whenever she leaves the house... because of what Arwin told her.
