@GhoulishGirl The 3D bkg also bothers me a bit from time to time but it's a tradeoff since the artist has to update every week. I understand how difficult it is to draw both the characters and the bkg equally well under such time pressure.

At least most of the time, the characters are drawn nicely esp given the artist's cool drawing style. As such, the characters easily take my attention away from the bkg in the end.
