Oh boy, this sure is stupidly ambitious 80s high fantasy isn't it? I already knew this mangaka because she did a manga adaptation of a Patricia McKillip high fantasy novel, which is kind of wild (if possible I would love to see that one someday too). It's a bit too heavy on the magi-babble for my tastes here, but I do definitely want to see more and see where it's all going. Thank you so much, scanlators!!

@micycle Wow, cool! (Or maybe really bad, depending) Really, I'm a fan of that book. Patricia McKillip never got quite the following some other fantasy authors did, but to me a lot of her stuff is really incredible, just fantastic imagery and atmosphere. Never would have figured it to get a manga adaptation. Well, I guess if Ghibli can do Earthsea (well, sort of) . . .

Oh my god. Three kingdoms named Errare, Humanum, and Est?! That's hilarious.

It's a pretty nerdy joke. "Errare humanum est" is a Latin phrase meaning, I believe, "To err is human".
