I prepared myself before reading last chapter, as I knew there won't be a happy endin. but such unclear ending is making me anxious.
 
Very interesting. I like how you can read this as an existentialist work about how everything seems arbitrary, absurd, and pointless


It's somewhere between Absurdism and Nihilism.
 
Not exactly cryptic. You have to move on past your school days, living looking back at it isn't living at all.
And living is work whether you want to do it or not, and involves putting on a face for others, not recognising people you once knew, being a cog in others' machine, having expectations from others, having something to show for it, and it doesn't stop until it ends.
 
If she really wanted to escape all of that mundane crap, she should've gotten within range of the blasts.
