Need a sudden mood change? Nanao rides in on a bear.
Fuji needs to be jealous? Nanao pals around with Sengoku.
Sengoku needs a rival? Nanao hits on Fuji.
Need a heartwarming interlude? Nanao brings his family.
Need plot progression? Nanao gets serious.

The dude has his work cut out for him and has my respect.

Chapter 34.5: another filler chapter about a side character that nobody's interested in, all just to prolong the series and postpone what is seeming less and less likely to ever come to fruition: Sengoku-san confessing to Fuji-kun.

@Purplelibraryguy: C'mon! I'ts only been 10 chapters since Sengoku-san admitted to someone else that she doesn't need to be hypnotized to fall in love with Fuji-kun since she already likes him. What's the rush?! (opinions expressed are not necessarily my own)

I really want a love rival for sengoku to appear, not like the one that confessed to fuji but a real rival that put sengoku on a ditch

@ Darkaeluz: I made pretty much the same comment on batoto last year and still there has been zippo progress between the two leads. Although Fuji-kun wouldn't be swayed, it would still be nice to see some beautiful babe drag him around tither and yon, leaving Sengoku-san to watch from the sidelines, stewing in a fit of confused jealousy.

I wonder how many new characters the mangaka will introduce, and how many filler chapters we'll have to suffer through before (and, as I said before, "if ever") Sengoku-san confesses to Fuji-kun...

It's pretty fun to read. I had a nice time laughing at their interactions and the plot itself wasn't necessarily a jewel of literature but it's heartwarming and the characters are fine.
You shouldn't read it if you're looking for a masterpiece but if you want a nice shoujo then go for it.

How long is that woman going to delay her answer to the male lead? It's been 25 chapters so far. Plenty of teasing and signs in the meanwhile, but not much real progress and some stock standard shoujo stuff to fill the time. So frustrating, by now she knowsshe's in love, she's just playing with the guy's feelings and somehow the guy bears through it all with a smile. Ridiculous.

And yeah Nanao should sod off.

It's not even as good as stock standard shoujo.
